An interesting if somewhat obvious article about responsive design and the trade-offs of content versus performance in a world of ubiquitous Internet-enabled devices.  Another issue (tangential to this article) to consider is the growing presence of non-display interfaces such as tactile and voice-driven devices.  In the Internet of things, the decision points around product design and interace with be more than simply mobile or web, native or HTML5.
